this may be belated but.... WERE BACK! back at Qwanoes and although it is a good feeling to sleep once again in my bed in proper covers and to be able to sleep for reasonable hours, being back i quickly realized what a valley we live in and how our sky is always cloudy and lack of space for my eyes to wander. I wouldn't say i am sick of this place, it is more of a pet peeve of the area. But never the less we are back. and if feels great. I woe up this morning with a strange pain starting from the top of my left shoulder and stretching down to the front. you know that restless feeling that sometimes occurs in your legs? well thats what i have on my chest and it is really bugging me. The past trip though was unrealistically mind bottling, to be in the world but sticking out as a member of a group of people who are not of the world is an interesting people. (for those who don't know, at the Olympics it became quickly widespread knowledge throughout the workforce that there was a "church group" or "bible school" all working there and without people asking or us telling them they would just know upon meeting us that we were part of that group). Great conversation were initially sparked on matters of theology and what we are learning. There was much seed planting on this trip through these conversations and hopefully that seed fell into good soil so that it may grow and bear fruit
Last night or two nights ago i dreamt that i fought a bear but later tamed it to be my companion/friend. little to my surprise after i woke up that it was all a dream and was quickly disappointed.
This reading week is a big crunch week for all of us Kaleos who have ample amounts of homework to be completed in not ample amounts of time, an example would be this blog that is coming in late ;) (have mercy Kristie) a textbook to be read, the Gospels to read, an essay to finish, oh make that two essays to finish. and within these confines to find time to squeeze in for quiet/alone/God time. it is a mildly stressful week but we will get through it one way or another. because nothing is going to stop time.
Other than things are Jolly great and i would like to do a shout out to all my sponsors who send me free stuff every now and then, which include parachute men, Kazoo, Balsa wood airplanes, candy, and the Lovely Ladies of the Boyda foundation who have taken the liberty of sending these things out to me. upon immediate excitement, i was soon regretting opening the box due to an essay that i wanted to finish soo badly. but i found some time to include playing with my toys.
